What is the load.tw public gallery?
Content sources
The public gallery only contains content that users voluntarily opted to make public during upload. These shares enter a moderation queue first and only appear in the gallery and homepage after approval. We never force anyone to go public, nor do we secretly add private shares to the gallery — you have full control over your content.
Moderation criteria
Moderation is meant to filter out content that is clearly unsuitable for public display. The criteria are simple: no violations of local laws, no CSAM, no hate speech, no phishing links, no obvious spam. We are not art critics — we don't reject content because "the photo isn't pretty enough." We moderate for legality, not quality.
Latest / Popular sorting
The gallery defaults to "Latest" (newest first). Click "Popular" to switch to sorting by total view count — highly-viewed content rises to the top. Both modes serve different purposes: "Latest" for discovering new content, "Popular" for community-curated highlights. Each page shows up to 60 items to keep load times fast.
Why can't I see some shares?
If a share you saw before has disappeared, it could be due to: (1) the uploader's expiry date was reached and the file was automatically purged; (2) the uploader manually deleted it; (3) a moderator rejected it; (4) it was taken down after a DMCA complaint. The first three happen silently; for the last one, we contact the uploader to explain.
Why is the masonry layout so smooth?
The gallery uses a pure CSS column-count masonry layout — no JavaScript position calculations. Each image is a 400 px thumbnail (WebP / JPEG), only 30–80 KB, so loading is blazing fast. The first 6 images use loading="eager" + fetchpriority="high" for instant above-the-fold rendering; the rest lazy-load as you scroll. The entire gallery page (60 thumbnails) typically weighs 3–5 MB — smaller than a single raw iPhone photo.
How do I add my share to the gallery?
During upload, check the "Show publicly on homepage (requires moderator approval)" option. After uploading, your share enters the moderation queue — usually processed within 24 hours. Once approved, you'll see the status change from "Pending" to "Public" in your dashboard, and it will appear in the gallery. If rejected, your content is not deleted — it's still accessible via its original short URL, just not shown in the public gallery.
I have copyright concerns about a share
If you believe a share in the gallery infringes your copyright, likeness rights, or other legal interests, please report it via the DMCA complaint form. Include your contact info, proof of ownership, and the load.tw short URL of the infringing share. We'll respond within 24 hours and take down the content after review. We take every complaint seriously.
Privacy protection
When visitors browse the public gallery, we only record three data points: total view count + country + device type (for the uploader's traffic analytics). We do not log specific IPs, do not use Google Analytics, do not embed Meta Pixel, and do not perform user fingerprinting. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
