Why is it free?
load.tw was built because we wanted a tool like this to exist. Not as a business model, not as a startup pitch — as a thing we personally needed and couldn't find anywhere else. We keep it running because we use it ourselves, every day.
Operating costs are covered by minimal ad placements on the site. We don't sell your data, we don't upsell premium features, and we don't plan to start charging.
Will it stay free?
Yes. We've made a public commitment: load.tw will remain free for individual users, forever. If we ever introduce paid features (like custom short codes or team management), they will be additions — existing free features will never be locked behind a paywall.
